Biography:

Samurai is a fictional character appearing in the DC Comics universe, specifically associated with the Global Guardians team. His first appearance was in *DC Comics Presents* #46 (June 1982).

Dr. Toshiro "Toshi" Misoma is a Japanese meteorologist and one of the original members of the Global Guardians. He gained his elemental powers through a freak accident involving an energy beam while working on a weather-control satellite.

These powers allow him to generate and manipulate fire, wind, lightning, and ice. He adopts the codename Samurai as a symbol of his cultural heritage and fights alongside the Global Guardians to protect the world.
